Alabama Global Supply Chain & Logistics Summit set for Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Alabama Global Supply Chain & Logistics Summit, which begins Thursday afternoon, aims to provide valuable insights into how companies can increase supply chain efficiency and enhance competitiveness to succeed in the global market.

The Summit’s 7th installment, with the theme “Securing the Supply Chain,” will be held at the Huntsville Westin, 6800 Governor’s West. Bank of America Merrill Lynch is sponsoring the event, which concludes Friday. Register here.

“The topics covered at this year’s Summit are very timely for our companies, and will equip them with the tools necessary for them to remain competitive globally,” said Greg Canfield, secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce.

“It is critical that companies implement the strategies laid forth in this summit and adapt to constant technological and workforce changes in our nation and across the world in order to be successful,” he added.
