Alabama Trade Mission to Australia’s AVALON Air Show (February 27-March 3, 2023)
The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defense Expo, or AVALON Air Show, showcases the latest in aviation, aerospace, and defense and space technologies. AVALON is one of the largest air shows and one of the Indo-Pacific’s most prestigious events.
Alabama will lead a trade mission delegation to Melbourne, Australia and host a “Made in Alabama” exhibition booth for Alabama small businesses to participate in and showcase their goods and services.
Southeast U.S.-Canadian Provinces Annual Meeting & Business Matchmaking (Newfoundland & Labrador, July 23-25, 2023)
The Southeast U.S.-Canadian Provinces (SEUS-CP) Alliance was established in 2007 to enhance trade and investment promote business partnerships and encourage technological exchanges between the member states and Canadian provinces. The annual meeting reinforces the importance of the long-standing U.S.-Canadian relationship and expands commercial opportunities in underdeveloped sectors and markets through new partnerships and business-to-business matchmaking.
Alabama will lead a delegation of businesses to St. John’s in Newfoundland & Labrador for Canadian business development opportunities.
Southeast U.S.-Japan Joint Annual Meeting (Tokyo, October 2023)
Established in 1975, the Southeast U.S./Japan Association (SEUS-Japan) promotes trade, investment, understanding and friendship between Japan and seven member states of the Southeastern U.S., including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Every year, the SEUS- Japan Joint Meeting program offers Alabama delegates an opportunity to meet with top government and business leaders from Japan and other member states.
Alabama will lead a delegation of elected officials, economic developers and businesses to explore business development opportunities in Japan.
Alabama Trade Mission to Nordic Life Sciences Days (Denmark, November 29-30, 2023)
Nordic Life Sciences Days (NLSDays) is the largest Nordic partnering conference dedicated to the life sciences industry. Since its inception in 2013, the event has nurtured a community of people from the world of life sciences and created a unique place to do business. NLSDays attracts leading decision-makers from biotech, pharma, medtech and more. NLSDays brings quality content and innovative companies together, for inspiration, for partnering, and for global industry growth.
Alabama will lead a delegation of businesses from Alabama’s life sciences and biotechnology industries to Copenhagen, Denmark to develop partnerships and enhance the perception of Alabama as a rising biotechnology and life sciences region and highlight its strategic importance in a global world.
